Fable Legends – Game Director is relieved the game isn’t like Evolve

PC Gamer UK published a Fable Legends preview on the April issue, taking the opportunity to interview David Eckelberry, game director at Lionhead Studios. Eckelberry said he is relieved that Fable Legends will not be like Evolve; in fact, the game does not force the player to pay 60$ for the box and 150$ for DLC, because, as we all know, it will be a free-to-play:

A few months after we announced the game, Evolve was announced. We had no idea that they were going to be developing something similar. Am I sort of relieved not be charging for a $60 box and $150 for DLC? Sure I’m relieved – because that didn’t go over well.”

The Game Director also stated that one of the positive features of the cross-platform title is that PC gamers can flip from controller to mouse & keyboard in a snap.

Fable Legends is coming to Xbox One and Windows 10 on 2015.
