A new Superman videogame could be in development

It is not the first time that LinkedIn offers us rumors about video games have not been announced. Recently was the case of Fallout 4, inserted by mistake into the virtual curriculum of the popular social network by a distracted cinematic trailer designer. Now it seems the turn of Kieran Turan, Freelance 3D Artist, who among his recent work projects (from 2012 to present) included:

Troubleshooting and repair of the 3D facial rig for the upcoming “Superman” videogame title for GameOn Audio.

Whereas in recent years it has not been published any title dedicated primarily or exclusively to the DC superhero (the only video games from 2012 to the present in which we find Kal-El is Infinite Crisis and Injustice: Gods Among Us, excluding LEGO titles), it seems that Warner Bros. has in progress a gaming title about the Man of Steel, perhaps along the lines as the successful series of Batman Arkham.

Moreover, GameOn Audio provides services not only dedicated to the audio industry, but since 2013 has also dealt with Motion Capture, technology that would fit perfectly with the professional competence of Kieran Turan. There are many titles that the team has contributed (Audio or MoCap), among these: Far Cry 3, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and especially Batman: Arkham Origins, so GameOn already worked with Warner Bros. in the past.

Therefore, according to Turan’s Profile, it seems that a video game dedicated to Superman is in the air and its announcement is really “imminent”!
